The pile at the back, under the torn grey tarp, is 4 60-sheet bundles of ½" 12mm exterior grade plywood. Considering what I was paying for that, that's a lot of money.

I can imagine when I used to work on a Ship the steel deck would make my feet ache in those plastic fisherman's boots and I was in my 20s lol, although apparently the wet bulb temperature is enough to kill people in certain parts of the USA it's apparently still habitable where I live with a "feels like" temperature of 110F (43.33C). I guess you can be happy it's fairly pleasant outside and you're not drinking water and Gatorade like its going out of fashion. I head into my Garage to paint a small part of the boat or do a glue up and the Epoxy hardens before I can get the joint together with the Slow Hardener. Wish you luck and hang in there!

21 consecutive 10-14 hour days. Coming home to see my girls, and work on Serenity.

Where we are working, we could definitely use a larger sea sled. Landing craft style. For something around 1000hp, is it more practical to go with marine diesels in an engine room, or three 350 Suzukis on a really big transom?

    Single diesel.

More of an engine house in deck, no?
With an Arneson type drive, like a LongTail!!!

You could put your helm on the engine house.

Watcha get done on Serenity in August?

Edit: I meant to say "on deck", in the first sentence.

That's the only reason I ask, it was the plan.

The client is the Federal Government, building housing for Native villages. And they take months to pay, so I'm broke as hell with a lot of money in the pipeline.

So no work on Serenity last time, darnit.

This is why I was asking about larger sea sleds.

Well if it’s any consolation your federal government just said that it’s dangerous for the LGBTIAQTS++ people to travel to the USA. So now that that crucial and vital task is complete… I’m sure your paycheck has been dispatched with urgency.

Madness. Generally we watch the gender politics going on down there with incredulous dismay. Maybe our skid mark of a PM decided we need to catch up...
