Thanks FallGuy, but I have nothing to add.
    Good progress John.

    DogCavalry I aim to misbehave.

Replying to Fallguy over in Dynel:

The transom is glued and screwed with PL premium. In hindsite I wish I'd used epoxy. Its 2⅛ thick, and I allowed for a lot of extra glass there. After all, I plan to hang 2 heavy outboards there.

The deck and cabin roof will be working surfaces. Like a workshop floor, so I'm sure there will occasionally be 2 carpenters, a table saw, and a load of lumber on the roof. I mean to build it to the same scantlings as the hull bottom.

hmmm, well, I would not use the bottom scantlings

U need to use plywood and glass and traction paint you can repair easily.

The bottom is designed for hydraulics. The work surfaces are designed for maintenance.

the way this is done is you ply and glass and prime in one color and two coat traction paint and when the traction paint is going; the primer is revealed and u know it is time to recoat

Traction paint on walking surfaces. This is a single coat of paint.

You don't want a lot of weight up high; so you won't be glassing the same unless you switch to foam cores which are not as stiff..best way is a good frame and 1/2" plywood.. You can glass the bottom. A lot depends on if camber.

Use Roseburg Marine ply..pretty cheap; only okay if fully encapsulated; leave no edges exposed...epoxy sealing them is not enough, they really need glass if outside, I can take some pictures and show you why..

With the rapidly evolving economic fallout to COVID-19, I suspect I'm about to suffer some delays.

Well, I'm a poor working carpenter punching well above my weight here. I've been counting on side jobs to bring in the extra money to get this done. But that might not be a thing for the next year.

Not being able to make extra money to build my own boat is a problem most of the world would love to have right now.

You, sir, are a great human. If I were you, I would try to get the hull closed up. Little bit at a time.

Imagine being someone in a poor country facing this pandemic.

Wow, almost 20 pages on one man's obsession.
I love it. You go man.

Imagine how much that beautiful wooden hull is going to dry up in this Summer's sunshine.

Got that angle covered. Already laying awake at night imagining it.
