You're going to need a GoPro to start time lapsing these processes.

I guess the tent keeps the sun off these days.
    Certainly no rain.

    Good progress DogC!

I'm shifting priorities. All exterior glass must be done. Monsoon season in another month or two.

All the scribed components for the foredeck, and the lockers underneath. Undersides glassed, because I can't do anything with them once they are in.

    I know that feeling.
Mind you, our rainy season (monsoon) is usually beginning of June to mid July.
So, far, it has been a shorted season and now, it has shifted to mid-august to today so far.. non stop rain. It's summer for crying out loud..!!!
Where is the ehat and sun??

Look on the bright side.. it is forcing you to get a move on :D:p

Will you be supporting this knuckle joint with anything?

It's a low angle intersection between the apex of the tunnel, and the bottom of the locker. There's a large fillet at the joint, and glass that runs continuously from the bulkheads, across the plywood, and 20cm up onto hull. At that entire region of the hull, there's 5 layers of 17oz biax outside, and 3 inside, in addition to the extra glass from the new plywood. Hopefully that is sufficient.

    Looking good DogC!
    Seal her up, monsoon ready.
(You're building bow, buoyancy boxes... beautiful.)

    5 + 3 = 8 layers of 17oz biax, on different angles of orientation?

    8 x 17 oz = 136 oz plus tapes?

Ad Hoc, how would you support this joint, vertically from below the newly installed sole/floor?

You still need tabbing at the knuckle, but only to keep it from cracking.

Maybe you already know. I just really like to needle you for more tabbing!

I made the mistake here of getting a lot of water into an unprepared boat and it took all summer this season to dry up.

Since the apex can be influenced by 3 load paths, and converge to be a higher local, you need to take these loads away, so something like this:

    upload_2021-9-4_8-22-22.png

Make a U shaped kind of stiffener...with radius joints in the horizontal to the vertical..and the transverse part to go over the apex, near the end, but not exactly on the apex.
Thus directly supporting the apex, by its stiffness.
