He died a few months back poor old guy ---took him quickly it did.
Smoked like a chimney. He got cancer then it seemed to go away so he started smoking again, ---he was'nt bright,-- no one ever accused him of being smart but he loved his boats.

Yes I say boats --he had fishing boats in Alaska too.

Now empty his catamaran sits un loved on its own.

Mick a freind of mine likes to do yoga on the dock sometimes-- after dark of course,-- he said to me, 'that boat over there keeps trying to start' I said what do you mean start.

He said you know --start-- one engine starter motor engages sometimes and no one is on board.

Whhoooooa I aint going down there,--- true story.

How about calling a good boat technician and let him check the engine wiring? :p

Well your not going to believe this but the local wiring sparky is the guy that keeps it in good nick and visits it every few days. He does'nt believe it.

Send him to a good rehab center and call another one. :p

Sounds like an issue with humidity, loose electric contacts or worn isolation, more than a story about ghosts. ;)

So, who would buy a used boat with a reputation like that? Perhaps the guy spreading the story?

A good exercisem should take care of any pesky ghosts.

I'm not into horror films, I have the other half and this is good enough for me.

I had a Jeep pickup that did this. Poorly-designed internal solenoid or some darned thing.

Also lived several years in a house that had a small ghost. I saw her many times in my peripheral vision, but never when I attempted to look directly at her. Little blond girl with a long Victorian gown.

You can make up your own minds about whether ghosts are real, I have heard some convincing stories from very sober people, but what's to be scared of ?

Frosty, have you or Mick tried to take a picture of the ghost? My wife and I are ghost tour guides in the evenings here in St. Augustine, and we have lots of stories and photos of ghosts, so it could very well be there. Look for orbs, energy ribbons, mists/fogs, or apparitions. You can try talking to it, he might respond. You can ask him to go away, maybe he will.

Below are some example pictures of ghostly apparitions taken on our tours.
First photo: The man in the ruff collar and work apron at left was NOT a paying guest on the tour.
Second photo: Swirling mist above the tower at the City Gate we think is a little girl named Elizabeth.
Third photo: Swirling mist with energy ribbons (see the human-like figures in the mist), and see the man in the black hat to the right, back to the camera.
Fourth photo: Same as third photo, different colors, redone in photoshop to see the man in the black hat more easily.
Fifth photo: Me on a tour at the Castillo de San Marcos with some friendly energy ribbons.
Sixth photo: The bright blue orb floating over the Castillo de San Marcos. We see this one very often, just about every week, on multiple cameras.

    Eric
