SCT is an application that helps the designer to calculate the scantlings of the boats according to ISO 12215. This standard does not include HDPE vessels, so, trying to give the designer tools as complete as possible, SCT has included in its latest version, SCT R18, the direct calculation of the HDPE panels using the Timoshenko plate theory, and using the design pressures provided by ISO 12215-5.
