Scantlings determination of non-structural parts

Hello,

I was wondering if there are any rules or standards for the determination of the scantlings of non- structural parts in a boat (such as berths, cupboards, tables, etc ), as there are for stuctural parts of the boat (i.e ISO 12215-5).

There are no such rules. Just try to get each thing capable of carrying out the work for which it was intended. No one can force you to make a table or a bed that lasts 100 years. But the "designers" of such elements know perfectly the resistance they must give them.
