Can I use the Rustoleum "professional enamel" sold at home depot as an inner transom/bilge coating?

It is great on wood or FG.
It is my go to bilge paint.
It won't last quite as long as a catalyzed paint.

It should last long enough to be someone else's problem when it needs to be replaced.

It’s good paint, I use it frequently.
Preparation is key to any paint job!

    """24 hours

    DRY & RECOAT TIMES

Dry and recoat times are based on 70°F (21°C) and 50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to the touch in 2-4 hours, to handle in 5-10 hours and is
fully dry after 24 hours. Recoat after 24 hours."""

I understand that you are intending to roll/brush it.

Normally I use Krylon as a spray paint. (higher solids and faster recoat time interval) Basically, once it is touch dry, minutes, you can continue with additional coatings.

On one occassion, when I could not find Krylon, I tried Rustoleum with the same application process. About the third light spray coat, the solvent/propellant in the can caused
the first couple of coats to soften and lift the previous coats. Wrinkled it badly.
Then I read the instructions, AS shown above.

If you are recoating, ensure that you let the first coat completely dry, 24 hours plus, before recoating.
