    Hi all

i am working on construction and scantling of 40 m boat
i should get the scanting using BV rules, but for some reasons i want to calculate some primary structural members using GL rules, do you think that the difference between the final results of the scanting will be so large

i hope to hear your suggestions

    thanks all

My opinion is that there is no large difference in scantling.
We have done in the past the same thing BV and GL for GRP boat and the results was practically the same...
