    Hi,

I am currently looking to build a 2 level boat house made of classic wood
with a diesel engine capapble to 12 knots cruising.

Are there anybody with this knowledge and advice.

Currently i am residing in Johor and would be prepared to go to wherever
    you are to discuss.

    Some pictures would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Hanna

My guess is you mean a "houseboat" which is a boat with a large amount of living space, not a "boat house" which is a building used to keep a boat in when the boat is not being used.

Yes, precisely, a "houseboat" with ample living area for my family of 5.

Any idea on who builds these now?

    Have you built boats before?
First define the boat requirements of this house boat. What sea conditions does it need to be comfortable in?
Then define the house requirements of this house boat. What spaces do you need and want.

So being "there" you would have much better ideas on builders than us "here", but really, where do you expect to use a houseboat in that area and do you really expect one will do 12 knots?
    None here do.

This is Belle, a 50' (15.24 m) x 16' (4.87 m) riverboat, which plenty of accommodations for your needs. Her hull speed is 9.25 knots (10.6 MPH or 17 KPH) which is pretty close to you target speed.
