My problem is I purchased a 16 FT fiber glass clinker hull inboard ski boat and it seem to turn in 1 direction well, and dig in to the water but in the other direction it is likely to lift out of the water and break away 1/2 way through the turn.
I am a novice to boat design and would like some advice/guidance on how this could be improved, some of my thoughts are could it be due to
    a. Rudder placement ?
    b. Rudder depth ?
    c. is perhaps a bigger Cavitation plate is required ?

If I have not supplied enough information what else is needed to help diagnose this problem ????

    Thanks in anticipation. :?:

Propeller torque probably causes that. There is no real fix. Is this a production boat or custom?

A production boat but been been refurbished prior to me buying it. I didn't even consider the prop perhaps it would be worth me trying another propeller it currently has a 3 blade prop but I don't know the pitch.
