Found this forum and have learned a lot about sailing just lurking around.

I'm new to the whole sailing adventure...my wife and I just purchased a 1978 CS27 sloop and while it's in great shape I am going to keep it trailered until spring 2005...while I solve a few problems...a deck leak into the cabin being one of the first that I must address!! I hope I can ask for advice from time to time as I have everything to learn and not much to offer.

    Thanks again...

    Dan,

    Welcome, glad to have you!
I just have to ask? With CS 27 You mean a Contest 27?

Canadian Sailcraft 27'....I'm told about 500 were built at 27'. They went out of business during the high interest rate days of the 80's.
