Your right. Boat week-end. Finally installed 2 bilge pumps. Would you believe I had this boat in the water for two years and never had a pump on it?? I'm a smart sailor:rolleyes: and I got a guy to rebuild the tranny for$300.00. We are getting there. Jim, ever hear from your friends regarding the Electric?

I asked the reducer question before and didn't get an answer. Are you using the correct reducer? The primer and brush topcoat reducer cans both look exactly the same. It's easy to get them mixed up. I usually don't reduce my Primer. What number is on the reducer can that you are using. I hope it's T0005 or T0031, You can get by with T0031 for your Primer too. Down here we stick to T0031 most of the year. Epoxy-- you can't mix up the primer epoxy with the top coat epoxy. Like Jim just said. Rule out everything before you chew the reps head off. If it is the paint I would make them repaint it for you. Your not a pro, but it cost you your time, sandpaper, cleaning stuff, and the consultant fees you have to pay Jim and I.:p

I think it was the rags. I got new lint free rags (the others were not lint free). I did a heavy wet alcohol wipe 2X, then a new tack rag. So really only thing I did different of real significance was the new rags and maybe a little more attentive on the tack wipe (slightly more pressure and being sure the cloth was flat on the surface).

It aint perfect but I can live with it, much better.

This experince just ramped up the details on all fronts, being very carefull at every step.
