Bought my first boat, bill of sale only, so I don't have Teansport Canada's certificate yet that might have year, make & model.

Looks like a Fiberform. 17 footer. Has a Slant Six inboard. Port steering (not starboard).

Anyone know the year and model?

Don't think it's a Fiberform, possibly a Sangster Craft. Fiberform will have flare at the transom, Sangster will have strong tumblehome at the transom.

I think you're right. I just found a tag, and can barely make out Sangstercraft on it.

Any idea of the year or model, Tad? Or someone else who knows Sangsters?

You can google deciphering the HIN number. At a guess it's hull # 35 of the 17' model, built in the eighth month of 1966.

That is not a valid HIN. It only has 11 characters. However I made the same conclusion you did. It is the manufacturers serial number. IB 17 035 6608. Makes sense. look here. http://www.fiberglassics.com/library/Sangstercraft Their records only go up to 1960 but it's interesting
