Rhino: Positioning Stiffeners in Bottom Panel

    That can work too, but it can yield some odd results at times. I prefer the control you get when dividing the surface using points.

    Ahhh... I'm liking this one.... thanks Joe
    I've had some success with running curves through divided transverse curves. I wasn't aware of the InterCrvOnSrf command....
    I have tried projecting onto the surface, but have found you can get some peculiar results of the surface has much curvature in more than one plane.
    Extruding the curve and then intersecting met with more success - as long as you extrude in the right directions...

    But I'll definitely give that one a try... thanks

    I'll also try the OffsetCrvOnSrf command too - thanks TH
