I am currently restoring my 1966 boat trailer and need to purchase a winch stand assembly.
My boat is a 16' long cedar strip that is 5' wide, the trailer tong is 3"x 3" and will eventually have a 1950's Johnson 35 horse outboard.
What size of winch stand assembly should I be looking at purchasing for this type of boat?

The winch stand is usually the same dimension as the trailer tongue. The smallest size winch will be adequate for the boat.

Thanks, for letting me know, I've gone with a slightly larger winch stand assembly just in case I use it on a larger heavier boat in the future
    Appreciate the reply!
