restoring 1974 Sea Craft what primer paint to use?

    Here are some more PICs. These were taken right after it was painted, so they don't show the faded paint. I don't have the boat here at the moment, but have asked my friend to send me pics of what it looks like now. Again the new paint (ice blue) still looks great and the old cloud white looks nothing like the pics below.

    Clouds are not glossy, a coat of clear should do it.
