Resistance of planing vessel

    What are the various method used for the prediction of the total resistance for a high speed patrol vessel (planing vessel)

    Round bilge or V-hull? Really, any basic NA text will cover this type of prediction,...but weights are more important than anything else.

    Its a V hull. since Froude number is high can we use the Holtrop Mennen Method or Guldhammer method or is there any other methods specially for the planing hulls
