resin on props

    hello to all as any one used an expoy resin on propellers ???

    Yes...on racing yachts Ive used epoxy on Max props. Not bad. one season or so. The epoxy shields the bronze, seems to prevent marine growth and protects the anode.. Those anodes are expensive. When the epoxy reached its working life it was easy to remove. To prepare the bronze prop I POLISHED it on a wheel to a mirror finish, acetone wiped, then epoxied. I was happy. I know nothing of high speed prop applications. If its a racing sailing yacht ... Give it a go.
