Gelcoat or Polysterine lamination on Plug Mold?

    Hello good fellows,
    Just a help needed as an amateur, should I laminate my plug mold with polyster resin or gelcoat, I am a bit confused :confused: any suggestions will appreciated. TIA

    You need to use the resin for laminating and the gelcoat as the finish coat.

    By curiosity wont epoxy resin wont do, or still I need gel coat. TIA.

    The gelcoat builds up a relatively thick layer that has no fiberglass content. That layer is what you sand, fair and polish for a good finish.
