    hello.
I have been making my own 7 meters catamaran in the home.
first I used 4 mm in thick marine plywood stripes to surround the boat.
then on the outer surface I applied frp 4 times with polyester.
the boat is in outside without any cover to be protected by rain.
My question is I want to know if a laminated boat(without any pain or external coat) is exposed rain during 2 months, what will happen considering osmosis? will it go to trash? or I can paint it and use it in the sea?
    Thank you very much.

Worry less about the water than the sun. Paint the cured polyester and go boating. Make sure it is absolutely dry before you paint it. Water is the enemy of wood. Sun is the enemy of plastic. I doubt if 2 months of rain will have done much damage.

    Is the interior coated too?

    Where are you in Turkey?

I live in the Pacific Northwest of the US. It rains frequently (understaement of the year) I have an 11 foot (about 3 meters) plywood boat I built using epoxy resin. It sits out side in the rain and sun (when it shines). It is 3 years old and beginning to show weathering on unpainted surfaces. On painted surfaces it looks like new. Paint your boat and go fishing.
