Pretty good, of course, it is preferred for boats to stay afloat.

    Absolutely epic.

"He said that as a former airline pilot, the navigation was the easy part of the rescue.

"Here we were in mountainous seas, not having the skills or experience to work out how to get the guys out of the water. There was a very real possibility that even if we could get to them, we could kill them by knocking them over with our boat," Mr Dunoon said."

The six-person Inception crew members had tied themselves together so as not to lose one another during more than 90 minutes in the freezing water.

"Mr Dunoon described the bravery award as "humbling", but "the greatest reward was a thank you message" from Mr Dusting's partner, Sarah. "She said, 'It wasn't just them you rescued, it was the 150 family and friends each of them has'. She told me we'd saved all of those people from heartache. It was very touching," Mr Dunoon said."
