Replacing Bulkheads: Veneer or not to Veneer...

    Teak doesn't have to be that dark and can be lightened to a degree, plus you could also "wash" the raw wood with your first coats of finish to lighten it further. Considering you have a lot of pieces, that already fit, an option I'd strongly consider.
