I recently decided to start building a boat and am trying to pick a plan. We want a fairly simple offshore fishing boat. Preferably center console. This is our first boat building project but we have a few friends who are experienced and can help us along the way. We want between 28 and 35 feet long. Right now we are leaning towards this boat

How difficult would a boat like this be to build

Also we are looking for any other similar designs.
    Thanks

I took a quick look, and it looks like a nice boat to me. Basicly a wood / epoxy construction, so if you are familiar with wood, this should not be a big problem.

Time consuming is the amount of sanding and coating of the wood, to protect it from the elements. This will be no different with any other wood/epoxy design. Just saying this, to prepare you for developing a system which saves you as much sanding as possible, for instance coat every sheet as it enters the workshop, at least twice.
