Hello all. I have a 2006 Johnson 140hp and at full throttle after a couple minutes it cuts out. Motor doesn’t shut off just no power and like you went back to neutral. Just seems like lack of fuel? Changed out fuel filter and fuel water separator and still same problem! Any ideas please?

Fuel pump may need a kit or replacement. I am thinking of a 140 2stroke. Yours must be a Suzuki 4 stroke in 2006.

I think he is talking about a johnson/suzuki efi 4 stroke . There are no 2006 johnson 2 strokes as far as i know. They were evinrude etec by then.
