Phil Bolger Out O' Gloucester

Anyone ever know of any other "Out O' Gloucester 30 footers like mine?

I know of one other being used by the Coast Guard Aux here in Portland, Oregon

Is this the original condition or a restoration? Either way, it;s a great boat.

There were perhaps 6 built in Yokohoma Japan.
They are very well built. Each joint is razor sharp.
Double planked in Phillipine Mahogany and copper riveted together.
The seam are edge epoxyed. Work was done in the Port Townsend Wa. Ship yards.
I am the 3 rd owner.
Very little hull and exterior cabin work was needed. Paint and Varnish mostly.
Teak decks.
Engine are the original twin GreyMarine inline 6 cyl flat heads. Top ends rebuilt.
Paragon tranny;s. Rebuilt.
Original stern drives.Rebuilt and powder coated.
The boat has always been in covered slip. Fresh water.
I use the boat almost daily on the Columbia River between Washington and Oregon.

Very Irish. Fishing hull design used in the North sea and English Chanel.
The cabin is also very much in keeping with Irsh and English fishing and family boats. Go to this site. Look close at the Thames river vintage boat styles built in wood. You will see where the cabin style comes from.
Plans for the boat do not exist any more. I am considering taking the lines and drawing up plans.
