Drascombe Longboat, Drascombe Longboat Cruiser, Drascombe Coaster, have the same hull.

Drascombe Longboat = open boat | Drascombe Longboat Cruiser has a cabin | Drascombe Coaster is newer and has a bit wider cabin.

Production of these is discontinued long time ago, but almost all have survived so far, every now and then there's one on the market, mostly in the UK and mainland Europe.

P.S. - Don't know if the woody plans are available, and if so where.

Did they and why did they fall out of favor?

They were expensive for their size and so hard to sell, then they lasted for ever so there was no replacement market, then owners needs change over the years due to eg. expanding families or they die, so good second hand boats came on the market, and the manufacturer couldn't compete with that. There are today almost as many as there ever were, the used ones coming for sale from that seems to be enough for what's sellable, and so new can't compete with that and keep a production line going.
