Thanks Yob, I've considered that, first I needed to get used to the idea, but now I see it as a kinda new start, since self-promotion is nowadays so comon on all kinds of social media, I like to be different in that aspect, so I think I now like to go as A II, with a note here for the regulars, for sake of the good times in the past . . :)

Don't worry Yob, your memory doesn't look mouldy, it could be he used Sabicu or Peltophorum or Cojoba . . .
A pity black mold ruined your library though !

‘‘ Salvaged Tropical wood slabs Cuban Mahogany Sabicu ’’

sabicu wood, same text as Wikipedia, but the tree picture looks like there's a lot of parts for natural bent boat frames in it...

Southern live oak is what they built USS Constitution out of. Famous American revolutionary war frigate fondly known ever since the revolution, as "Old Ironsides" and is still a commisioned vessel in the US Navy, but does modern duty as a museum. Never lost a battle!

    USS Constitution - Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_Constitution

    Ancient fake news?
The Advertiser reported that the Secretary of the Navy had ordered her to be sold or broken up. Martin presents a valid argument and explanation of Navy procedures for aging ships as to why this was not true and must have been misreported.

A II is a good name.

Back awhile, saw a yacht named "Never Again IV"

Are "Likes" discontinued? Don't see the option anymore.

See the Boat Jokes thread, post #6639 & #6640.

Think I was A № II (or more) already, and now should go as A № III, or even some more . . .

    Dicorynia guianensis (PDF) | Family: Leguminosae | Basralocus | aka . . .

Below some 6½" × 3" (165 × 76 mm) of those timbers getting hooked scarf joints and being prepared as 48' (14.6 m) Tally Ho's longitudinal beam shelves, on which the transverse deck beams are later mounted, and also some for stringers, and getting those beam shelves installed...

This is for the time being my last Tally Ho post here, otherwise I'll better move it to the subject thread, but for this one the wood tempted me . .

Ah yes, ‘‘A ’’ should do, next time I'll take that one, for now I've copied pasted the infinity symbol, but for a forum name I'll learn how to use the code !

So I'll sure hope the forum then can handle in a registration . .

    looks good
    or could use omega Ω
AΩ means the beginning to the end

Sometimes it's used to refer to the Almighty, and Angels do, don't they?

Nah, that's too much for me, I know of one of who is claimed to have said ‘‘I am the Alpha and the Omega’’ and to have sent his Angel, while also a bright Morning Star came along, and the Spirit and the Bride offered free Water of Life, but although I don't believe it, I'll sure think it's too much for me to call myself ‘‘’’ too, so for now ‘‘A II’’ will do, and ‘‘A ’’ will be next, if ever needed, and the forum can handle it . . :)

Ah yes, it doesn't hurt so much for myself, as I've grabbed it from a banner of a Dutch webshop's tools department, for me the new avatar actually says ‘‘whatever happens, thumbs up !’’ . . ;)

    [IMG] [IMG]
‘‘alles voor je klus vind je bij . . .’’ = ‘‘everything for your job is to be found at . . .’’

Right now there it needs only € 8.95 for a 1 pound (450 gram) claw hammer to smash up your thumb . .

Maybe I'll grab my old avatar from these forums someday, to replace the a bit hurt thumbs up.
