good luck... the operative question you need to ask that you are missing is what percent of time do you need to run and what percent of time you can charge. For example if you need a 1hp motor and you can only charge it at 1 watt, that means you get to run for 30 mins per day and charge the rest of the time

we reduces the speed to 5km/hr...and water gave the rest of the speed which is 5km/hr approx which makes it 10km/hr..so 1hp will be too much...we have done some calculations for the catamaran hull....
