Has this boat sailed on its foils yet? If so, it would be nice to see video of that too.

Doug, they want it to foil and they've apparently had the wind but it hasn't foiled yet-and now they're going to reduce SA. Interesting that they got it up under tow but they pulled it from too low a position, in my opinion.
    I wish them well......

PS- they switched the "sonic tube" on the rudder from 4" diameter to 6".....
-they've found that a 6 degree "angle of attack" on the rudder is ideal. Seems awfully high to me. The Rave, Osprey and my boats are set up with zero degrees AOI(angle of incidence) but the angle of attack on the rudder foil during take-off is probably 3 degrees or so.

It looks like the front of the main hull is out but the akas and stern is buried. As with any new design more tuning is necessary.

Welcome to the forum! Just as a suggestion, you might want to go over the thread before you post-looks like what you posted is already here.
I hope they can get the Rave V foiling.....

Take some of the lift out of the rudder? may be forcing the bows down with as much as you have dialed in.

    Rave V

No news, that I could find, on the Rave V except the price: $35,000. When the original Rave came out about 1999 it was about $8-9000. Times change.
