When I built my last boat(in my living room) I had to build a dolly to wheel it out on its side because the boat had a 60" beam going through a doorway 36" wide.

    Oversize load

Hi Boston, Loads 10 ft and under signs for daylight ,10ft up to 12ft lighs and sign and lights plus C/B , No pilot car required. this is in the west. some city regs. are stricter like Seattle. I pull a 10ft boat all the time and have up to 12ft at times with strong 1 ton P/U. When you look at a boat fom the back it appears narrower than actual size, normal sight is at the level of the trailer

    hmmmm

Ill have to look up the col. highway regs

thing is I have a one ton farm registered truck which means I can haul anything farm related no mater how big it is on any state road ( not highway )

I think my limit of non farm related stuff is 10' but I'll have to go look it up again

    cheers
