Kapin, that was not funny! there's a guy there who's really going to mess his boat up, major restructuring whilst afloat/drying berth - there again maybe it is depending on your sense of humour (humor for you guys that can't spell) Anyway I've slapped his legs and told im not to be a fool! He'd already been told by another poster - I just reinforced it!!

    Hell yes it s hilarious:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D that'll cost!!

I had that "sinking feeling", - - that is one reason I avoided that thread... Less time and effort would have possibly enabled him to build a NEW, taking copies of the bits & pieces then adding all the original fittings for a "perfect restoration job".... still a waste of time and effort - like marrying a 96 year old former beauty queen & spending a fortune on plastic surgery and organ replacement - nuts???

I totally agree, but since he went that far you know that (i) he is going to continue (2) he is doing all this work with 0 money or he would be on the hard.
I figured our job was to help him finish as safely as possable. He is going to do it anyway. Think about what he is doing. Walking through a bog at low tide in the winter just to rebuild an old boat. Lets help. He deserves it. Not just negatives. Be creative, there are ways to accomplish what his goals are.

It might be an airboat...............the black line at the bottom may not be a skirt.

    It's still cool though.:D
