Looks like a couple of exchange pilots there Charlie - we often let you have a couple of ours for training (that is to train you guys), we take a couple of yours for 'entertainment'! noticed the flight you noted as 'low' was taken from a British warship!

Anything higher than maindeck level is NOT classed as low! Sorry mate you ain't there yet!

Thanks for the effort and interest.

I remember seeing one aircraft over a lake? doing WELL OVER mach and about 30 - 40 ft asl... Absolutely fantastic... Must have been Europe or Russia??? All fast planes look the same to this blind fool, but loves the images of that speed.. Thanks again -mas- ::::: ::::: ::::: :::::

    Mas,

Maybe remembering a scene from Firefox, a 1982 movie about an American agent swiping an experimental high performance fighter from the Soviets? Great scenes of the plane scorching lakes with a 200 m rooster tail.

You're right, Safie, video taken from a British warship ... being "flybyed" by a pair of USN Reserve Phantoms, with the high one brushing the mast and the low one below the 42's maindeck. :D :D

OK, Truce. We've beaten this dead horse pretty well, anyway.

I've seen some great videos of French Mirage pilots going crazy low, too.

The point is that all those guys (and now gals) are damn good. Superfast reflexes and able to stand 8-9 G + turns. God bless 'em all.

the survivors amongst them are those that stop when they begin to think!! As long as the reaction is automatic they are OK, if they start to think about why and what the reaction speed slows down and CRASH! BANG! WOLLOP!

But as you say they ARE good (if crazy!) and we need em!! As long as they only shoot up the opposition!

    regards

    Mas,

We go at each other to get the last word 'cause we know absolutely that trying that with the lovely ladies in our lives is pointless ... doomed to failure always! :D :D

Ahhhh, but the challenge... and the tension of the battle of the minds to win in the end by saying to her "I love You" which ends with me the last pointer:D:D:D:D

    The thrill of the chase?

Trouble with that is it's a bit like being a mercenary (soldier) if you loose you die - killed by the enemy; if you win you die - killed by either friends of the enemy or your own side to prevent you telling how they won! Either way its a Lose lose situation! Probably not a good place to be!
