In the city of Texarkana they built the US Post Office and Court House building straddling the state line.

 

Texas to the left and Arkansas to the right, so I'll guess we see the south entrance there. Must be a kinda complicated courthouse, do they follow Texas law on the east side, and Arkansas law on the west side, and some federal law on both sides ?

 

That is the Federal Courthouse. The County Courthouse for Bowie County is in New Boston. The County Courthouse for Miller County, Arkansas is in Texarkana but is a separate building.

Thanks for the info Hoyt, think I'll now run soon for some US office, I'm in favor of justice according to all laws in all courts, not splitting that all up, I might call in Judge Judy for that.

Maybe just dirty court houses. It wouldn't be nearly so ugly if it were clean.

My idea after the ‘‘those aren't birds’’ info was also they are roof ridge ornaments, turns out there are many still for sale, as you already have linked.
