    Once upon a time, in my younger invincible days, I was not so afraid of heights. Then about middle age something changed. Now photos like that give me the gut twirls. Here I am diving off a bridge outside Soda Springs, Idaho in about 1971.

    My favourite gut twirling is this guy, Mustang Wanted aka Pavlo Gennadiyovich, from the Ukraine. The worst bit, for me, is at 3.04...

    Watch this ship launch at 6:45. There's three things to watch. First, the guy stiff arms the lady out of the way of the camera, kind of humorous. Second, people appear that are under the ship while it's being launched, kind of surprising. Third, watch the restraining cable almost kill them, kind of shocking.
