Cactus spines are very hard. I stepped on one in New Mexico that went completely through the cm thick sole of my shoe. Fortunately it took a path between my toes and not into one of them.

Thanks Sam & Phil [IMG] - - Yes, I was wondering how that could have happened, the guy sure had a bad day there . .

I'm not religious, but the above picture and a Sparrow brought back remembrance of the Bible Genesis 3 17-19 since I was brought up with it . . .

Yesterday a Sparrowhawk took a Sparrow from my garden, don't have a picture of it, so grabbed one from the web . .

Regarding the eaten Sparrow I also thought of Matthew 10 29 and Luke 12 6 . .

Both presenting the same quote, but who is right about the numbers, and who cares about the Sparrow and the Sparrowhawk together . .

You mean the bow.. Yep, looks unnatural. Might be a paintjob with an optical illusion. If not photoshopped, I like it.
Comme vendee had some kind of optical illusion in it's bow.

A Eurasian Kestrel on top of a bird watch station, as there is lots of food there, more about the station here.

Oh my, they all look fake to me still.

Yacht "A" in the video below about the 3/4 mark has a tender very similar to the original boat in question, so I guess it's real.

The typical markers of scale, and detail nuances are wiped clean in these design, giving them a surreal or model-like appearance. Plus the white parts of the hull and canvas tops tend to bleach out photographically which does not help. A rendering might actually have more tell tell signs of scale oddly enough.

I remember when I first saw the first "A". I actually liked her ... up to a point. That point was when I finally saw her transom whereupon I commented, IIRC, "Sadly, this is the end."

There have been times car guys, when talking about certain cars, wonder why the designers stopped working/went home early before finishing work and that "A" reminded me of those comments.

... then there's the second "A" which is in Pontiac Aztek territory....

Not impressed with the white stingray leather walls of the F-room in the "A" (see video posted)?

It was all thought through, just not they way you or I would have done it.

Talk about going crazy with scale.............WTF?

It always strikes me as a modern take on a 17 century ship.

That and maybe also protect the forward deck space from possible small arms fire or paparazzi.

The one above is Motorjacht "A", and the sail one is Sailjacht "A"?

Found the below using that last term.
