    I met a bloke once who worked on one of those live sheep trade ships from Australia to the Middle East. Poor devil was aboard when it sank in high seas in the Med.

    Russian log transport on Volga river in 1910s-1920s. Logs cut during the winter months were taken to the saw mills when the rivers thawed.
