Maybe on boats a sliding system would be nice to move the galley from the cabin to the cockpit and vice versa for inside and outside use.

That is if made watertight, the above lowered hatch looks like it can be made sealable.

Yes, now I can. It looks to be quite an intense storm.

 

That is a nasty looking thing. It looks like it has intelligence and an evil plan of some kind.
