That is a fact of life, it's not right but that is the way it is.

I like the photos of what's going on outside your apartment window, put in some more of everyday Chinese life.

No, Sargasso weed looks like floating grilled cheese sandwiches, at least it does after about 30 straight hours at the helm.

As long as posters remember 'all things in moderation' then fair enough. Too many photos of any subject defeats the object of being random and reduces other posters enjoyment.

Years ago we had really thick blue green algae in our lakes here . It was so bad boats were losing speed and cooling system intakes were getting blocked with it. It looked a bit like your photo.

    Hi Sam

    Thank you for your kindness.

I will do that as most the pictures on this thread are cut and past of others and not many shown their own pictures, especially in a local China boating scene which I am in the heart of a small fishing village that live of the sea.

I will actually start to take more random pictures of the boating life in China as well as random pictures of the industry and the people while designing and inventing ideas in China and display on this thread more often.

    Cheers

I don't throw cheap insults around in your fashion however in terms of life's experiences and whether your photos of a Chinese village qualify you as either an expert in photography or life.... wind your neck back in and start showing some respect to other members of the forum who have made polite requests.

You've posted about your village and local fishing boats, thanks very much, now can you move on to something else?

I don't have a problem with Myarks photos. I was going to post a photo from my bedroom window but I won't now in case someone gets upset.:(

I EDM wire cut this small GR 5 titanium part today and polished it to go with a new invention for the marine market that I have just finalized the design and will release next week some time.
Its great to be able to make an income from designing ideas and enjoy the freedom and travel that goes with it.

Green Slime Invades World’s Deepest Lake | National Geographic

Thick Green Slime Each fall since 2011, scientists have observed thick mats of filamentous green algae building up in shallow water in Russia’s Lake Baikal.
The causes are unknown but sewage and runoff from towns are likely culprits.

Like Shag Carpet An overgrowth of algae makes for a weird scene in the lake.
Oxygen levels there have dropped, which might pose a problem for aquatic creatures.

Sponges at Risk Algae can coat sponges in the lake, killing them.

Do you use Electro Erosion (spark erosion) in any of your work?
