    ah, blown up I can see the rivets, although she is not as fair in places as most riveted ships
    I am guessing the added bulwark, by way of leeboard is a later structure

    I fly a lot, often as I fly over high altitude lands, remote, I see smoke from a single dwelling, wonder how they survive
    The feet of those horses , in that terrain
    Who is richer, they or us
    If you ever get a chance read, The Last Of The Breed, abt a part Cherokee Indian, who was a USA jet pilot, shot down over Siberia, survived two winters
    As a boy, growing up, I could track animals.

    Just looked into the start of ship welding...

    Popular Mechanics Magazine, May 1921 issue, has an article on page 747* about 'Fullagar', an all welded ship, the article speaks about an experiment and testing and a new departure in the welding art.

    A History of Welding (years 1900-1950) says:
    Note: different spelling 'Fullagar' vs 'Fulagar' but I think it's the same ship.

    ah ok, Lincoln Welding USA put out a manual twice as thick as a bible , early on, thanks for this
    In Germany from tomorrow and then south Fr then Spain, so excuse if I do not pick up the thread

    many of thosze riveted builds had wonderful flowing lines, plate lines, so fair
