    Last week off the North African coast.

    Hard to see but its a white squall, microburst. Look carefully at the smoking water. Perhaps 50 knots. The burst Stayed stationary for about 5 minutes. I was afraid to get closer with the mainsail still up ,so the picture taken with my pocket cam iis a bit far off.

    You were wise to stay clear, those things have taken down aircraft and ships. Best image I've seen so far - there are very few images on the web that I can find, one supposedly here in wiki but not very convincing.

    OK, the Darwin award winner is shark bait.

    The guy losing his car in the sand didn't listen to the locals.

    And the guy trying to tow his truck with a boat shoulda gotten an amphibious truck ....
