Wynand, I think you're going to need a new speedometer.

I recall mine didn't have much HP but got it's get up and go from it's low curb weight which also explained it's fantastic handling. Cornering ability was less than but close to the Cooper. I well know this because a friend of mine from Scotland was a Cooper nut and made that point often. Yes Wynand you will truly enjoy this fun machine, The years will just be blown away :D

hmmm...how/where do you stow it aboard?
Looks IDEAL for grocery runs and a night on the town.
Only way I could fit one aboard, if it was a matchbox or hot wheels version. :)

Sorry, here no Lotus 7 - McSorley 442E but a Caterham -which needs the same space- in a Sunseeker Predator 108 Special Edition . . .

Sometimes it is good to be out of the loop. Just ask Saddam.

Right, but Wynand build from scratch using the McSorley 442E plans and not from a Caterham kit.

    That's why I asked . . . . ‘‘ why is there ‘‘Caterham 7’’ on the glovebox . . . ? ? ’’ - :)

    Cheers,
    Angel

He happened to have the stick on logo floating around on his work bench and just stuck it on his scratch built car. ;)

Wow. I clicked on the McSorley 442E link, and went to Wynand's build thread. I had no idea he built the car so much from scratch, even designing and molding the body parts.

You aren't just a car builder, Wynand. You're a sculptor and artist.
