    I have a vintage CJ5 Jeep painted in Rustoleum Sunrise Red. I give it another coat every two or three years, and it's gotten to the point where the paint job is probably a major structural element; it holds everything together. A few years ago my wife threatened to have it repainted in red and white stripes, with the hood blue and covered with stars.

    I made damned sure she didn't have any keys to it, because she's quite capable of doing something like that while I'm away from home at work....
