I'm not sure what the statue of limitations is on some things, but I was young once and very angry about something a drunk and his car did.

My parents were very concerned about my reaction, I stopped their line of commenting with; well it's against the law to drink and drive too.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but at least my actions were not potentially deadly.

now those are a couple of happy campers

I wonder if without a chair they had to work together to bring that thing up to the boat let alone get it in without swamping it

There might be something on the Neoteric website.

I've seen video of just about every type/brand hovercraft going up rapids, HoverTechniques/Hoverjet, Neoteric/Hovertrek, Universal Hovercraft, Sevtec/Amphibious Marine, Weber/Starcruiser and many more.

What is curious about the photo I posted is that he has the reverse buckets activated. Maybe he is having second thoughts?;)

Try doing a Google video search "rapids hovercraft" and see what Santa brings you.

Hmm, interest in fared recumbents, on a BOAT DESIGN website, eh?

Let's have a little look at the British Human Powered Club website...

    Here's their logo and slogan:

Lets take note of that slogan!

and lets have a little look at *their* forum: (see attachments in sequence)

Oh, a post on putting streamlining wheel covers on your wheels gets 11 replies!
A post on how to attach a drinking bottle to a Brompton gets 6 posts...
Even a post on which type of Araldite gets 7 posts....
how about a post on human powered boats?
    :D :D :D

In fairness, they do say they are mainly interested in recumbents pretty much to the exclusion of all else, but hey!

Well if you're planning on screaming downhill at 60mph in your homemade streamlined plastic bottle with wheels, I agree it might be a good idea using the right type of Araldite!
