    How can you ignite Diesel not under compression and at normal temperature? I bet they were putting gasoline in a Diesel craft on top of all the other abuses.

    Re post #2466? - - - - Pour the diesel over hot exhaust pipes then inspect the engine room with several lit matches thrown in? - using a bucket - - ALL TOO STUPID??? where was the syphoning hose? DO not employ any of these people as crew unless you need an insurance job? - see pirates???`

    You might be right, similar to looking for oxygen leaks at a Nuclear plant with a lit candle - and that was in the USA.
