Probably using FLIR to find grow houses.

They give 24 hr notice when they do it here so they're not violating any laws or homeowner rights. Grow houses stay hot for a long time even if they turn off the power they're stealing.

They were following me as I walked, not the house.

I did visit the C.I.A. world fact-sheet site yesterday.

I'm sure there is no connection, can't be.

The rear cabin fairing may have been cut off to accommodate some rear facing technology behind a protective membrane (looks white in photo).

It was a piston craft though like the Robinson.

The closest one is the R44 Raven II, but that has a slender to a point cabin ending.

From the rotor tower, tail boom, and cabin rear portion it's definitely a Robinson Raven. Marketed to law enforcement; used by agencies that don't waste taxpayer money on military choppers for the macho image. KnottyBouyz may have it.

If they were really following you, you were probably a target for field calibration of the FLIR. "for FLIR, live persons are required" Air/Ground Probability of Detection Calibrations, SAR training memo, British Columbia, Canada, 1996. Because of the vibration inherent in helicopters, recalibrating the aiming controls frequently is SOP.

Note: I am quite certain I am correct, and you've no worries on that point. If the guys in black break down your door early tomorrow morning, however, then I was wrong. :D

The dark brown would been a Sheffif's Department in Michigan, it's their color.

I see that Perry, Michigan has one, that is about a 1-1/2 hour drive north from where I'm at.

Located at Oakland-Troy Airport (7D2) in Troy Michigan, our late model helicopters are always impeccably maintained and flight-ready.

I guess they just needed some dummy.:D

Funny how they tend to 'sheer off' if you happen to be carrying a short lenght of say 4 inch plastic tube (downpipe!) and swing it and look in their direction!! Strange that!!
