Quick Water Ballast Question

    Do you really think that cockpit floor needs to be "slightly angled down going aft" to evacuate the water? I do not think so, but it's just an opinion.
    You are quite right. I acknowledge my huge mistake, I have described a self-bailer cockpit that is not what you were thinking about. I am sorry.

    I wrote this on October 16th, 2017 : self-draining instead of self-bailer?

    On your first point, a self-draining cockpit should slope to whatever outlet you have for the drain.
    People talk about flat roofs but they should always have a slope towards the gutter.

    On your second point it seems your translator struggles with technical phrases. :(
