quadrajet carb accelerator pump sticks down

Updating, engine is running good again.
the fuel pressure tester got maxed out by the stop peg on the gauge
So it was at least 7psi.
I have read these pumps are about 9psi.
Since it is not blowing fuel past the carb needle which happens around 11 psi, pump must be ok.
