I have registration. 1965 chris craft corsair. From the research I've done it looks like a XL170,but what is with the hard top / cabin thingee? Never seen one like it. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum.

Actually, that's the '65 XL175 with the hardtop option, which wasn't a very popular thing on this model, simply because of it's size. I don't have figures, but I'll bet 90% of them where bimini equipped instead. I believe this option was called the "Express Cruiser", sometimes refereed to as the fly bridge option. The sales brochure is available for this and all the 1965 models.
