Hey guys I'm new to the site and to sailing so bear with me:) Me and a buddy acquired a PT-22 Mustang recently that was in pretty sorry condition and are looking to repair it on the cheap. If anyone has any info on these boats or perhaps can point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated. One of the problems that has been identified is the swing keel doesnt swing, it is stuck in the up position. What I need to know is if there is any way to get the keel to go up and down (or just down and stay down for that matter) without killing myself. If that is not possible... can I just sail the boat with the keel up as long as I only use the mainsail?
