Propeller position for optimal water flow

a model outboard motor will satisfy the need for horizontal shaft and distance above or below the bottom of the boat. If your budget can manage, then go to your hobby shop that has a stock of model parts and equipment. You will need to get acquainted with the model hobby shop in any case. You will need servos, RC gear, voltage controllers and other basic items including batteries.
